What We Do

Although each school has its differences in regards to leadership structure, the following are integral to the ministry of AACF:
Discipleship/Mentoring

As students develop as disciples, they are encouraged to come alongside other Christians to help them to grow and deepen their faith in God. Life-on- life sharing enables the young believer to become grounded and other believers deepen their faith as they continue to grow in their understanding of God and the Bible.

Small Group

During the week, small groups meet for a time of Bible study, prayer and support outside of the Large Group meeting. Small groups provide an intimate setting for Bible study, sharing each other's lives, accountability, and mutual growth.

Large Group

Each AACF group provides a time to meet as a corporate body once a week. During this time students worship God, listen to challenging, Biblical messages, pray for the needs of their campus, and enjoy fellowship with one another.

Mission/Social Concern

In acknowledging God's constant challenge for Christians to be concerned for the world, AACF desires to place this burden in the hearts of students. For example, AACF's parent organization, JEMS has many cross-cultural opportunities to serve in Japan and Brazil, both long and short-term. We also encourage participation with other mission agencies as we challenge students to know that the gospel message is for the whole world.

Outreach

A major focus of AACF is to share the message of Christ to the campus. Many AACF groups have Bible studies for people to investigate for themselves the claims of Jesus Christ.
