Why Apologetics?
What does it mean? The word Apologetics comes from the Greek Word "Apologia" which means "a word against", literally "against."' For all Christians, it is our duty to defend the truth of Christianity against opposition from all non-Christian sources.
The Truth Matters Conference is hosted by AACF, a ministry of JEMS (Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society).

James Porter Moreland is an American philosopher, theologian, and Christian apologist. He is currently Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in La Mirada, California. He received a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Southern California.
