Finals Week

June 8th, 2009

I know… I know…  haven’t updated, but you guys finally made it!
Studying is important, but don’t forget to set a little time aside for God.  Listen to a little worship on your break or a sermon and God will certainly bless you.  Other than that, keep healthy and safe and don’t forget,  there’s JAILBREAK on Wednesday at 11:00 pm at the belltower.
See you guys there!

Pastor Roy’s Message 3

April 20th, 2009

Last week Pastor Roy spoke on honoring God by being good stewards of your time.  To do so, he suggested using these practical tools such as making a long term plan of plotting out what will happen in a year, 3 years, or 5 years for you.  Also, he suggested planning a daily schedule with the main things that you need to accomplish the next day and rate them with numbers of importance so you can always get the most important thing done that next day.  Lastly, remember that you only have 168 hours in a week, so please use them wisely whether it be sleeping, eating or drinking.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. - 1Cor. 10:31
I hope you had an awesome time at the joint AACF meeting also, if you have any ideas that may help us improve this even or any other events, please leave me a comment here!

So this week, the surprise is ……. the AACF Core will be leading the whole meeting!
Annie and Randy will be speaking along with the rest of the core playing worship!

Events this week
1. Jam 4 Jesus: 12-4pm (near the C-store in the Commons)
2. Prayer Meetings: 11:10-12:30pm (Normal Place) Remember guys, prayer is necessary! Although we are supposed to pray unceasingly, it is even better if we gather together and pray in groups of two or more.
3. Shirts and Sweatshirts! - $10 and $20 respectively.  Unless you know about the DD…..
4. Men’s Retreat! - Availiability is dwindling!  Only about 10/40 spots left!  Join together for a blessed weekend of manly fellowship and bonding.
5. Next week… is Outreach Night!…?  you guys tell me, I left my paper at home.  I’m in the Riviera library right now.

New:
