As a quick breakdown, Winter Retreat will be at Loch Leven Christian Camp (at the base of Big Bear).

Dates: Jan 22-24, 2009
Location: Loch Leven (at base of Big Bear)

PRICES AREN’T FINALIZED YET. Refrain from writing a check just yet. We’ll make an announcement this Wed.

AACF UCR SOLAR!

Hey All!

Every year we need to register our club with UC Riverside through their Solar System. We would really appreciate it if you could help us out by registering on UCR’s Solar Link under AACF!

So here’s how you can register:
1) Go to this link:
http://studentlife.ucr.edu/studentOrganizations/Pages/solar.aspx
2) Go to the section under the “banner” that says “Current Students(Non-Extension)” and click on the part that says “log in to SOLAR”
3) (A screen similar to iLearn should appear and you login normally with your UCR ID and Pass)

** Now that you’re logged in **
4) Click the “Student Groups” tab on the top
5) Then Click on “Find a Group to Join”
6) Search for “Asian American Christian Fellowship” and there should be a button that says “Join”
7) Click that and then you should be done!!!

**Quick Note: Some of the people are already registered from last year, so if you don’t see “Join Group”, AACF might already be under your My Groups Tab.

For everyone who was referred to this site from Bear Facts,
Welcome to our website!

We are still changing things, but just so you know, you
have arrived at the correct site (hopefully!).

We probably already told you, but just to make sure it’s
understood, I’ll say it once more. You don’t have to be Asian,
you don’t have to be American, and you don’t have to
be a Christian in order to come and listen.

In addition to large group meetings on Wednesday,
we have many events like going to the beach, small groups,
progressive dinner.

Please come check us out when school starts and
if you have any questions, either leave a comment
(it will be private) or send it to aacf.ucr@gmail.com.

I know… I know… haven’t updated, but you guys finally made it!
Studying is important, but don’t forget to set a little time aside for God. Listen to a little worship on your break or a sermon and God will certainly bless you. Other than that, keep healthy and safe and don’t forget, there’s JAILBREAK on Wednesday at 11:00 pm at the belltower.

Last week Brian talked about Kingdom Expansion, but along with expanding the kingdom, we need to decrease Satan’s territory.

This week we have Yale Kim coming to speak along with Troy Lee who will be playing for worship!
