UC Berkeley
About Our Chapter
The mission of AACF at UC Berkeley comes from Colossians 1:28 "We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." We want to evangelize to the lost on our campus; encourage students to grow in their relationships with God and each other; equip them for ministry and service both at Cal and into the future; and establish them in their faith for life.
AACF was first established at UC Berkeley in 1974, and except for a 3 year hiatus from 1980-83, has been a constant presence on the campus reaching out to students with the gospel for more than 35 years. Since its birth, Cal AACF has invested in the lives of hundreds of students, growing Christ followers and developing more than 250 student leaders passionate about loving God and loving others. Our alumni continue to be leaders making an impact for God on the campus as volunteer or paid campus ministers, in the local church as pastors or ministry leaders, in the work place as managers, teachers, health care professionals, etc., and in the world as career missionaries.
