Derrick Ching
Derrick Ching is a Sacramento native who attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for his undergrad. He earned his BS in Industrial Engineering in 2015. During his 5+ years of attendance, he attended a college campus ministry called Chinese Christian Fellowship where he led Bible Study and was a member of the core ministry team. It was there he learned about spiritual leadership, discipleship, evangelism, and other facets of the Christian faith. His (super) senior year, he moved to Irvine for an internship in the summer of 2014. It was during this time, he had the opportunity to meet a number of then-current AACF members from the Irvine chapter. Although 3 years had passed, it was through those friendships that he learned more about AACF and eventually made a decision to join AACF as a volunteer staffer. When not involved with his church in Costa Mesa, Berean Community Church, he enjoys baking when its cool, working & eating out, managing his humble collection of shoes, playing tennis, and hooping. Derrick is a campus minister at UC Irvine.
